It is heavier weight but still comfortable. The swoosh on the front is subtle but a nice detail to make it more interesting than other black vests. It’s not so poofy that I feel ridiculous but just right. The length is perfect for me but you may want to check your measurements if you have a longer torso because it is a slightly shorter fit. It hits perfectly for me and I’m 5’6” 109 lbs wearing an XS. The interior fabric is soft and warm as are the pocket interiors. I love that the pockets have a button closure. I did stay very warm when I wore it, it retains heat with the down fill which I loved. The Nike swoosh in the center and near the pocket are understated but noticeable in the way I like. Def would make a great gift!
